Casual Janitor

($25.82 per hour)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certification in WHMIS.
• Building Service Worker Certificate and/or Institutional Aide Certificate is preferred. 
• Institutional cleaning experience is preferred.
• Legally allowed to work in Canada.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Previous experience in a Long-Term Care facility is preferred.

• Provides janitorial services in common areas and resident care rooms as needed.
• Collects and disposes of recycling, shredding, and waste.
• Reports repair needs and clears snow and debris from sidewalks.
• Reviews maintenance logs and completes corrective actions promptly.
• Monitors the facility and resolves building and equipment issues safely and in a timely manner.
• Supports the facility Safety Program by identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Casual Housekeeping Aides

($25.82 per hour)

• Valid certification in WHMIS.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effective English communication skills
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Perform housekeeping and laundry services for residents
• Clean resident rooms and common areas
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Assist dietary and laundry departments when required
